The hospice concept and movement has grown out of the commitment and vision of thousands of volunteers. From the beginning, and still today, volunteers are at the heart of hospice. Even the federal government recognizes the importance of volunteers by requiring that Medicare-approved hospices,
such as Creekside Hospice, utilize volunteers from their community. Nationally, there is an estimated 400,000 volunteers serving hospices, donating countless hours of their time.
Volunteering with Creekside Hospice is a very rewarding experience, and there is a wide variety of ways you can help us help our patients and their families. Please visit our Volunteer Opportunities page to see which option fits you.
