 BEREAVEMENT

Creekside Hospice’s Bereavement Program provides families with grief support for 14 months after the death of a loved one. The first year following the death of someone you love can be a very difficult time and we want you to know you are not alone. Having a strong support system in place is an integral part of the healing process.

Our Bereavement Program is designed around the unique needs of each family. After the death of your loved one, you will receive a phone call from one of our bereavement professionals to follow up on any questions or concerns you may have. At that time, we will create an individualized care plan to fit your needs. Services may include:

Phone calls
Home visits
Individual grief support
Support groups
Workshops
Monthly Newsletters

Our current support group meets every Wednesday at 4:00pm at our office on Pecos-McLeod. New groups will be added periodically and will be announced in the newsletter. Participants are required to sign-up prior to attending the sessions.

The Bereavement Department also coordinates an annual Memorial Service held in memory of all our patients who died over the past year. This is a time to gather with other families and our staff members to reflect and remember.

Please call our office at (702) 650-7669 if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule a time for individual support.
